Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!

The Gomel regional executive committee is pleased to invite You to take part in the Gomel economic Forum – 2009, which will take place 21, May 2009 in Gomel.

The aim of the Gomel Economic Forum – 2009 is to inform business circles of near abroad countries and foreign countries about the economic potential of Gomel Region, to draw investors’ attention (home as well as foreign ones) to new actual investment projects of the region, to consolidate and develop the existing links, establish new business contacts, to exchange experience in win-win international economic cooperation.

The Forum provides:

- at the plenary session – speeches of representatives of state run public authorities of the Republic of Belarus, which touch upon modern conditions of economic processes in the republic and promising directions of their development;

- three workshops: «Successful investments – effective economics», «International cooperation in the sphere of small-scale business» and «From partnership to win-win trade».

Participants of the Forum will have a possibility to acquaint with economic and investment potential of Gomel Region, projects in industrial sphere, processing industry, tourism and many other fields.

Last year more than 30 delegations from 22 near abroad and foreign countries (Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Iran, Israel, Lithuania, Hungary, Latvia, Slovakia, Estonia, Australia, Poland, Turkey, Bulgaria, Moldavia, the Netherlands, the USA as well the republic of Belarus) became guests of Gomel Region, the total number of participants of the forum came to more than 200 people.

Besides, on 20-23, May 2009 the Х Anniversary International Universal Trade-exhibition «Spring in Gomel» will take place, there one can see a wide range of products of Gomel enterprises.

All participants interested will have an opportunity to exhibit their products and services, negotiate with partners, conclude win-win treaties and contracts.
